This is a blend of Essential Oils - Citronella, Lemongrass, Spearmint, Peppermint and Eucalyptus. All known for their insect repelling and killing properties.

This blend is not fragrance oils. Fragrance oils may smell similar but do not contain the repelling or killing properties of essential oils.

Soy Candles - 100ml of fragrance oil per 1kg of soy wax.

*Our Natural fragrance oils are International Fragrance Association (IFRA), compliant and certified. They are made with a MINIMUM of 80% natural plant based ingredients and essential oils. Propylene glycol (a synthetic plant based fixative) is what holds and ‘fixes’ our fragrances, ensuring a long lasting scent in cosmetics, soaps and candles. PHTHALATE FREE. Our natural fragrances are completely oil based, and are suitable to use in the oil stages of cosmetic manufacturing and soaps (after trace formation). Due to their low vaporization/boiling point, natural fragrance oil should be added to your candle creations at the lowest possible temperature - when the soy wax starts to cloud / solidify.

Would 100% recommend

I made a whole heap of the Bugs Away candles for our outside farm wedding last year, all I can say is WOW these candles scared away the flys & mossies! And they smelt amazing, way nicer than that nasty citronella smell. Making more again this year, perfect for BBQ season.

AMAZING!!!!

Wow! Just made this up into candles ! The fragrance is heavenly,
Much nicer to sit round than just a single citronella .
Not only was there a instant reduction in flies but the smell itself was so refreshing.
The mint and lemongrass invigorate you while the eucalyptus feels harmonious and clean.
I can’t wait to order more.

Bugs Away Candle

The moment that you open the bottle of fragrance the fragrance just livens your senses. The citrus notes appear to be the head notes, The Eucalyptus the mid-notes and the mints the base notes. As the candle was sitting to cool there was a noticeable reduction of the pesky fruit flies around. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for candles out on the deck on these summer days for the crazy mosquito season.
