Properties: Camphor essential oil is said to hold health benefits that encourage the boost of activity of the circulatory system as well as being a powerful decongestant for the throat and lungs. It is also said to help relax the brain and temporarily desensitize the nerves while also acting as an insecticide.

Contraindications/Cautions: Camphor essential oil can be dangerous for those who have an inclination for allergy or asthmatic as it has a potent aroma. It is also known to hold narcotic effects when handled, so caution is advised. People suffering from epilepsy, or are pregnant should also not use Camphor essential oil.
