Lemongrass Essential Oil

Description: As the name implies, lemongrass smells just like lemons, but is sweeter, milder, and far less acrid. Lemongrass essential oil is used in aromatherapy to relieve muscle pain, inhibit bacteria growth, and treat both external and internal wounds.
Properties: It can be used to flavor teas and foods, and is often used as a fragrance in soaps and cosmetics. Lemongrass essential oil is a high source of essential vitamins, and provides relief from headaches, stomach aches, muscle pain and fever.
Lemongrass essential oil blends well with: Basil essential oil, Cedarwood essential oil, Coriander essential oil, Geranium essential oil, Jasmine Absolute essential oil, Lavender essential oil, Lavandin essential oil and Tea Tree essential oil.
Contraindications/Cautions: Lemongrass essential oil should be kept away from eyes, and may cause skin irritation. A patch test is recommended before use.
