Description: Bay leaf essential oil has a sweet, fresh and spicy aroma which has been said to be used as both an antiseptic and antibiotic with Ancient Rome. Protecting the body from unwanted bacteria and infections.
Bay Leaf essential oil blends well with: Coriander essential oil, Eucalyptus essential oil, Geranium essential oil, Ginger essential oil, Juniper Berry essential oil, Lavender essential oil, Lemon essential oil, Sweet Orange essential oil, Rose essential oil, Rosemary essential oil, Thyme essential oil and Ylang-Ylang essential oil.
Properties: Bay Leaf essential oil can be used to help with coughs, cramps and body aches. It is also said that when Bay leaf essential oil is blended in the bath the calming effect of the aroma can help soothe and relax the body and provide relief from anger, stress and anxiety.
Contraindications/Cautions: Using Bay Leaf essential oil in large doses can cause irritation to skin and the mucous membranes. It is advised to not apply Bay Leaf essential oil directly to sensitive skin. Keep out of reach from children and do not use if pregnant or nursing.
