Myrtle Essential Oil

Description: Myrtle essential oil comes from a small plant similar to Eucalyptus essential oil, and Tea Tree essential oil, giving them all similar qualities, it is often used to give relief to sore throats and colds, flu’s and respiratory conditions. Myrtle essential oil is a smooth oil and is safe to be used on children.
Properties: Myrtle essential oil holds some antidepressant properties and is known to be an effective calming agent for feelings of stress, anger and anxiety as well as working as a deodorizer and keeping away bad odors and it is also known to help with relief against acne and boils.
Myrtle essential oil blends well with: Bergamot essential oil, Clary Sage essential oil, Eucalyptus essential oil, Ginger essential oil, Lavender essential oil, Peppermint essential oil, Rosemary essential oil, Tea Tree essential oil and Thyme essential oil.
Contraindications/Cautions: Can be toxic when used in high concentrated doses, test on a small patch of skin before using. Avoid using while pregnant and lactating.
