The pain, the shame and all the work that head lice nits or cooties bring.

All the tears that come from the pulling of the nit comb through the tangled chemically treated hair. Then there's the chemical toxic stinks that emits of their hair, that lets every one know your kids got nits or is being treated. Not to mention, what are you putting on your precious child's head, a toxic mixture that even google has trouble explaining. Make sure you take time to read and check out the side effects.

You always need to check the small print :)

These Essential Oils are some of the most powerful parasite removers of the essential oil family. Theses are also the nice smelling ones, so you won't need to chase the kids around trying to spray it into their hair.

Essential oils that help in removing those nasty nits and parasites:

These aromatherapy blends will help fight against lice and nourish the scalp:

Blend ingredients together into a clean bottle and shake well.

Here is another recipe you could try:

  • 5 drops of Thyme Essential Oil
  • 5 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
  • 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
  • 15 mL of Jojoba Oil

Mix ingredients together in a clean bottle and shake well. Massage the blend into the hair and scalp before bed and wrap hair in a towel, leave it in over night.

Another quick and easy blend is to mix 10 drops of each Geranium Lavender and Tea Tree Essential Oil into a 250ml shampoo and also into your 250ml conditioner.

Massage this blend into wet hair and leave for 5 minutes. Once washed out comb here to prevent them from creating more eggs.

After you've treated the problem, I recommend mixing 10 drops of each, essential oil Geranium Lavender and Tea Tree into one of our hydrosols. I love either geranium or lavender as the base.  Mix together into a 250ml amber glass bottle. Shake before applying daily. in the mornings, spray generously into kids hair paying attention to the base of the skull, behind the ears and temples.

 Need empty bottles? Fear not!
